This 7zip file contains the English and auto-translated Japanese versions of the Emotion Creators scene “Yumiko: The Lessons,” as well as the character and costume cards. Koikatsu versions of the character cards are also included to make exporting them to other games easier, along with three custom maps: the community pool, city apartment, and ryokan guest room (see credits below).

My last scene was a year ago, and I was hoping to have the next one ready last summer. The past year has been difficult, though, and that idea eventually hit a wall. But two of its characters captured my imagination, and now they’re the stars of a spinoff scene called “Yumiko: The Lessons.”
The story’s set in 1973, and Jun and Yumiko are a couple. She’s younger but more sexually experienced, and she’s treating their relationship like a lesson in lovemaking. The game takes place over the course of a single night, and most of it is about how things unfold once they retreat to their hotel room. It’s less a dating simulator than an H-focused “date” simulator for that one particular night.
Each playthrough begins with a phone call and a decision about where to meet Yumiko, which determines what outfit she’s wearing. After that, she’ll ask you to choose between a lavish hotel or a nearby ryokan and hot spring, and from there the H-scenes can unfold in a variety of ways.
Tip: Some of the choices are loops, but selecting the first option will always advance the story.
I wasn’t actually alive in 1973, but it seems like a fun historical period, one where pop music, traditional values, and the sexual revolution were all colliding. The setting isn’t very detailed: mostly it’s just the clothes Yumiko wears, the music she likes, and the absence of cell phones.
My first scene was based on an erotic letter about a chikan, and the second was based on a tentacle horror movie, so I wanted the next one to be completely original and a lighthearted, realistic story about a girl who’s sexually confident. Yumiko probably doesn’t talk like most women back then would: she’s somewhat brash and outspoken, while the player, as Jun, is the more reserved one.
Tip: Be sure to choose the hotel date if you’d like Yumiko to keep wearing her alternate outfits.

While Yumiko’s character card is highly customized, Jun’s card mostly uses the default male settings. Any default male character should work just as well so long as his height’s set to 85. Some players might notice the heroines in all three of my scenes have a “Bewitching” personality: I don’t mean to be unimaginative, it’s just that Bewitching is my favorite female voice in the game.
Since this story’s just a day in the life of the characters, there’s no decisive ending. Each of the two dates has two large branches and several smaller choices to make. There are no bad options you have to worry about avoiding, though, or any way to ruin the date: it’s just a fun night out.

Although I do have a few other story ideas (I’d especially love to create a scene about a supernatural adventure and a heroic couple who fight evil together) this might be my last one for a while. There’s a lot going on, and we’ll see how everything turns out. But for now, at least, I really hope you enjoy this latest, slightly more romantic fantasy.
