Patreon recently accused me of violating their Community Guidelines, claiming that asking my CGI characters for personal consent and including a scene involving my testicles isn’t allowed. However, many other 18+ creators continue to post similar content without issue. After appealing to the safety team, they acknowledged that only real humans need to give consent. My work has always complied with the 18+ creator guidelines, yet they still insist on deleting my page.
If Patreon were to restore my page, it would suggest they misunderstood their own community policies from the start.
That month, many creators experienced the same fate, making it clear how Patreon chooses to treat its creators. As a result, many have left for other platforms.
